[Bug] iLO2 Remote Console instantly crashes tab

Open RealSourceOfficial opened this issue 2 months ago • 4 comments

I have an HPE ProLiant DL360 G6. Trying to access the Remote Console from the iLO2 interface will immediately crash all of the tabs and start giving me unending errors

It loads IcedTea, starts loading the remote console, instantly crashes all tabs. Apart from that, the interface will occasionally not load the remote console at all, forcing me to restart it.

Did you use the "Java Applet" instead of "Java Web Start"?

Otherwise I have no clues and no way to reproduce, I don't have access to iLO2 anymore.

I'm pretty sure I did. I'm reinstalling right now as Javafox got removed while I was cleaning up storage. Will update you when it's working since I'm currently dealing with network errors...

Upon further inspection, I don't actually HAVE those two buttons. Unless I'm in the wrong menu? Image

It should be the "Remote Console" link. Maybe it was some other iLO version that offered to use webstart.
