@ArtificialOwl, @MorrisJobke, @nextcloud-gmbh: This app is in your official namespace. From that documentation: "Users can expect apps in our project to be better maintained", and later "When you are no longer active, our admins can decide to hand over maintainership to another contributor".

This app is quite trivial (while not very good documented) and I don't expect that it needs to be changed significantly in order for compatibility to be pushed from 18 to 22 since it works perfectly for me on arch today on NC22 / PHP 8 / etc. Probably dev dependencies would need to be updated too, and optional GitHub actions / linting. Yet it should not be an issue to change appinfo/info.xml, setting max-version to 22. I can provide a PR – but as this app seems to be abandoned, I'm hesitating to do so. Please advise.

If @ArtificialOwl does not want to maintain it any longer, I may maintain it, too – noting that I will not enhance it but only ensure it runs fine on current versions and review and merge contributions.

@ArtificialOwl Please take all necessary steps to hand over the app to me. Since I use it to import scans to NC folders, I'll maintain it as long as it runs without major modifications.

While I didn't need this before, I am now at a point where I would love to have the possibility to automatically import email attachments (or even entire emails) automatically.

It would be great if someone who knows how to write PHP could maintain this app.

Therefore, thank you @nursoda for your initiative!!!

Bump. Is there any news about this? This app is niche use case but some people are clearly in need of something similar that works with recent versions. Why not release the app and allow @nursoda to maintain if he is still willing to maintain it until major modifications?

I still would do it.

Hi all !

This is a GREAT App, I would be a waste to see it unmaintained or tagged as obsolete

By the way: can this App be still installed on the currently maintained Nextcloud versions ? Nextcloud 28,29,30 ?

@nursoda : thank you for your proposal :+1: Did you have any answer from @ArtificialOwl ? Is the app maintained ? Is @ArtificialOwl willing to hand administration over to you ? It seems he is an active Nextcloud developper, maybe you can contact him by other means than this current thread ?

No, no reaction yet.

The app works in NC 28, I expect it to still work in NC 30.
