I am facing this issue with Eclipse Neon. Is this still not resolved ? any idea how i can overcome this problem and create a GWT project using Eclipse ?

Hi braneflake2267, thanks for sharing this. It indeed works in Oxygen if i keep the Generate project sample code selected. if i unselect it, it fails with same problem
