I have an implementation of some of the simple ones: https://github.com/roaldarbol/animovement/blob/main/R/calculate_straightness.R

Hi @lochhh I would like to contribute to this issue! The trajr package currently provides various tools for analyzing animal movement trajectories, but incorporating additional methods to quantify the complexity of paths would enhance its functionality. Could you please provide more details on the specific complexity measures you'd like to see implemented or any existing references that could guide me ahead! Thankyou

I have tried to implement a solution. Please let me know if its on the right track and I am on the right track to solve the issue. If yes, I will iteratively fix and make the solution better. Thanks

Hey @Mahi7828, thanks for expressing your interest in this issue. Given that @demoncoder-crypto has already covered a lot of ground with his PR #506, I'd rather not duplicate efforts on this.

If you are still interested in the topic and would like to participate in the discussions, feel free to leave comments on #506.
