CommonMark support would be nice, though I should do basic Markdown parsing first.

It says this is CommonMark-compatible (https://crates.io/crates/md), which made me think it supports CommonMark already?

@tshepang, unfortunately, I have a very little time now to work on the library, so no, it does not support CommonMark yet.
