@DenisPac can you have a play with this version https://drive.google.com/file/d/13uYyCQE31JlSUb2iamKdYh55bGNqQFOW/view?usp=drive_link please. It's in the File menu and is expecting the zipped export from GS.
Hi @nemethviktor, here is my feedback with this new version:
- Satellite view -> great !
- I could load my favorites from GeoSetter -> great ! However I see some room for improvements:
- new strings related to this feature are not available in Weblate for being translated
- non-ASCII characters are not properly restored - see below - but I was not be able to understand what encoding is used in the GeoSetter favourites backup.
- no thumbail view yet ?
- context menu (right click) on the images in the list should be used to access to the images related features (edit, get toponym data...) - current context menu should be available only in the header of the list I think
- one useful feature for me is missing (I think): when I export files from LrC, the timezone previsously set in GeoSetter is dropped. I then reload the exported files into GeoSetter by selecting all files, then edit them. I can then restore the timezone with the highlighted option below.
Hi,
One thing at a time! ;) The main reason for a separate ticket is that I can have a separate branch of code, it makes my life a lot easier. It also helps to keep discussions related to various topics separate. So thumbnail view etc later. Can you send me your GS favourites file plz. Or just one of the lines that don't load properly. If you'd like , make a fake one or change the coordinates, I just need the name really as it appears in the XML. I need to figure out where the utf coded items go astray. New translations won't appear on Weblate until the branch is merged into master (branch) because Weblate reads from master only.
