adb command not working on windows 10 cmd prompt

can't run this command without an error...is there something equivalent when doing this on windows 10?: "adb shell chmod www-data:www-data /data/www/lighttpd.user"

return is: "chmod: invalid mode 'www-data:www-data'"

maybe a typo.

try "chown"
