Android: long text in placeholder causing issue

Hi, I run into a problem with placeholder text being too long, Android will not calculate the line correctly. Below is the screenshot I took side by side:

On iOS, it looks fine: ios

On Android, it jacked up: android

Any help would be appreciated. Thank

I'm using: "react-native": "0.57.0", "react-native-material-textfield": "^0.12.0"

Thanks for issue and sorry for delayed reply. Looks like this issue still exists in 0.13.0 but overflowing text is not visible.

I'm facing the same problem. "react-native-material-textfield": "^0.16.1", "react-native": "0.60.4",

@SonQBChau, is there a workaround? Or some suggestion in how/where to fix it?
