If you block this, Amazons Website looks broken.
Hmm... there is only rule ssl-images-amazon.com$script,domain=~amazon.com
And I went to amazon.com and it seems ok. Could you provide some examples of broken pages?
https://www.amazon.de/ap/signin has
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/authportal/common/images/amznbtn-sprite03._V395592492_.png
to show the amazon design for example from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mtxadmin/ublock/master/hosts.txt
the Hosts file is a bit to aggressive as there are no limits like ublock itself has.
Amazon had some strange scripts on that domain, there were at least several entries in EasyPrivacy, for instance. I was curious, what if to block all scripts blocked from that domain - and surprisingly everything worked pretty well, so I put that rule to the list.
But this rule 1) needs to contain more Amazon domains (de, ca, in, etc.), and not only com, and 2) it looks outdated in general. I disabled it now.
Concerning the Amazon's practice to host scripts on a domain, intended for images - I've seen they placed some scripts in /images/ folders as well :-)
