Logarithmic option not working for plotPDF

Hi Guys,

Passing the "logarithmic" option to plotPDF does nothing and I'm not able to reproduce the documentation logarithmic scale figure using 5.8.1,5.8.2, or the develop branch. The option "log" does apply a log scale but the result is not the same as in the documentation. Maybe this is a documentation issue and not a bug?
