This is also an issue with the datePicker component see https://github.com/adobe/react-spectrum/issues/3187. I don't think there is an equivalent `NaN` workaround for this component either.

We now have const panics in rust 1.57 would it be possible to move this issue forward?

This is something I was just about to create an issue for. Lossy conversion is good enough for me, but there isn't really a way to do it at all...

I have 32 bands and reset hangs every time even if it click it, do nothing and click it again

Wait just changing band counts also causes some hang. Much less hang, but its still a noticeable full second

Heres a recording of me changing bands and then clicking reset twice without doing anything in between. You can see hang because the spectrum freezes while the app is hanging...
