Theater mode stops sync lights or dont work

I have a strip an bulb in my tv room. Strip works great with ambilight mode, but if i choose theater mode for the bulb, everything stops- no more ambilight also after set one light or two to theater mode. Or if i choose theater mode, lights stay as they are, no dim I want to sync strip with ambilight mode, and the bulb with theater mode, how?
