[Feature Request] "Always Open This Site In NO Container" and "Create a NEW Container for this site"

Right now I have to choose existing container.

  1. I would like to whitelist websites never to be opened in any container and never asking me if I want to open it in a container.

  2. Also I would like to open some links in totally NEW container (created while opening the link automatically, adding this links domain to it as the first one)

I think Temporary Containers handles point number 2 fairly well. https://github.com/stoically/temporary-containers

It doesn't "link the domain", but it does have configuration for when to make new containers.

Always Open This Site In NO Container

That is one of a number of duplicates of 2017 issue #503

I keep running into point 1: not being able to set a site to always open in "no container". I share the same GitHub account across personal and work projects, but opening github links from google docs at work is painful, as they then open in the "work" container.

Is there any workaround until this feature is implemented? I get that I can manually reach for "open new tab in container -> no container", but it's a lot of clicking.

You can set a site to always open in a given container. There's a containers icon in my URL bar that I can use to assign a site to a container. The next time this happens, it asks if you want to use that container with a checkbox to always do this.
