Investigate sending glean events for universal links triggered by Adjust
So far we know Adjust is able to send events and track universal link action however we would like to send 【 highlighted #bf2600 】where【 end highlighted 】 a user is coming from to glean.
Flow:
User opens universal link via website -> Downloads Firefox iOS ~~> Adjust universal link integration gets triggered~~ > we send glean event
Acceptance:
We need to make sure that the above flow is valid and are able to perform sending glean events for when a user uses universal links and triggers adjust SDK

- We need to test the App Site Association universal link and that we added in https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/FXIOS-4711 ( https://mozilla-hub.atlassian.net/browse/FXIOS-4711|smart-link )
- Waiting currently on our backend team to deploy it before we can test in prod
- This test will allow us to investigate how we can send glean events when user comes from a website link → app open / install → send glean event

This is blocked as probabilistic matching on Adjust is disabled for Firefox iOS. Until that is enabled we can’t move forward.
Daniela Arcese I am moving this ticket out of the sprint.
