Thinking of the same thing. At first I thought the player in the frontend does this. But it seems it's a backend's job to transcode and save multiple resolutions?

I'm currently having a problem where when it's transcoding until heroku throws errror timeout. It would be nice to show a percentage progress instead.

I hope the team at native base continue support for nativebase v2 and fix this issue. There are still many apps out there that uses v2
