Describe the bug
Around 3 weeks ago I tried submitting a new mod/plugin made by us on modrinth as well, but for some reason I don't see the selections for marking client/server-side as required/unsupported:
Meanwhile on any other project I have thse two options exist:
Because of that I can't submit the project for review as it's required to change these options, I reported my bug a few days after the project creation and haven't got any answer.
Steps to reproduce
- Make a new Modrinth profile
- Create a new project
- Go to Settings->General
You won't be able to see the "Client-side" and "Server-side" option, at least for me.
Expected behavior
Self explanatory
Additional context
No response
Same https://modrinth.com/plugin/server-keyboard-bridge , I have upload both mod and plugin and I can't see the environment side field
Any Update?
I also ran into this issue
My problem was that a version I uploaded contained a Fabric mod jar, but it was not the primary file.
You need to delete the current version and upload only the Fabric jar to the version, then go to the settings to change the supported environments and then you can upload the other jars if you have them.
I only had the Fabric jar uploaded, but the issue magically solved over time (my project just got approved/published without me ever setting the supported environments).
I also am glad to have found this, my latest plugin/mod "Clove's Pluralcraft" has had issues, as it says I need to add environmental data (or smthn like that), but that's not even an option. Mod/Plugin works Paper/Fabric (Forge in dev) and is server side only
