Updating username doesn't work

If you update the username through the config screen, it has no effect

Saw the same issue, had to remove and re-add to get the right login

It appears that the way home assistant handles things makes this too complex for me to solve. If you get the username or password wrong, you need to delete the integration and start again I'm afraid

I am getting data from this integration for electricity usage but not gas. In the geo Home app I can see my gas usage, so it seems to be this integration failing to get the data for some reason.

The reason I am in reply to this question is that my first thought was to configure the integration. The first page of that process is setting the username and password, and I see it preset with username admin which clearly isn't right, so I'm not proceeding further. I just wonder if this part of the UI can be removed if it isn't really fixable.
