Elevation is always on for BottomBar. I do workaround by wrapping BottomBar with LinearLayout with elevation (background need to be set) and setting app:bb_showShadow="false".

You can try Kodi addons with that feature.

This is Mi Box bug. Recent update should fix that.

I thing it only affects bluetooth devices. I have the same problem with mx keys with bluetooth connection but it works good with dongle.

Same here: macOS Catalina 10.15.5 and 12.9.6. Only with bluetooth. With unified receiver it works.
