Feature Request: Support of mouse on Desktop

I've tried, It works on my mobile devices, but not on desktop/laptop with mouse. Is it feasible to add support for this (i.e. using lists also on desktop/laptop using mouse) ?

Any update on this? I found this plugin very useful. but problem is support in Desktop browsers.

Operating these kind of operations on a mouse or trackpad based input sounds like a dreadful idea as far as usability is concerned.

On touch based devices much less so (surface or many laptops). The question is: Does it work with those? If not, I agree it would be a nice addition.
