Doc Writer plugin not working on latest Android Studio

This is an excellent doc writer and I loved it, but after I upgraded my Android Studio to the latest version, Android Studio Flamingo | 2022.2.1 Patch 1, the plugin has stopped working. I understand that the plugin is not compatible with the latest Android Studio version but please may I know by when can I expect an update regarding this so that I can start using this plugin again?
