I'm currently reading Harry Potter with my kids. We finished Sorcerer's Stone a few weeks ago and are in the middle of Chamber of Secrets. I'm trying to raise the kids multilingual, so we're actually reading the Spanish translations La Piedra Filosofal and Cámara de los Secretos.
I watched Independence Day recently. I enjoyed it fairly well. Felt way longer than 2.5 hours, however. I like Will Smith— he's good in the movie.
(Sorry this isn't a movie, I haven't watched any recently that I would recommend.) But a recent short series I LOVED was Bad Sisters on Apple TV.
One of my favorite books I read over break was Little Women, I also loved Stefanos Geroulanos's Invention of Prehistory!
