Final Demos

You all will have to demo your hw5 in a 1-1 meeting.

When:

1. Friday December 17 from 7AM-12PM
2. Monday December 20 at 9AM (-8 point late penalty)
3. You may schedule an alternative time during finals week before December 17

Where:

1. Normal class zoom link https://cmc-its.zoom.us/j/644800111

Format:

1. I will allow 1 student at a time into the zoom meeting in order to demo your webpage.
   1. I will ask for remote control permissions on your computer, and then directly access your webpage over zoom.
   2. You should have your web server+firefox up and running before you connect to zoom to minimize downtime during the 1-1 meeting.
   3. I'll give you your grade on the assignment (and final grade in the course) over the meeting.
2. The order will be determined by the order that you log in to the zoom meeting. Everyone else will have to wait in the waiting area for your turn. That's possibly a long time, but you can do whatever else you'd like while you wait.

In-person traditional quiz: If you're choosing to do the in person quiz, you will have to come to my office in person during the finals timeslot. (Anytime 7-12pm Friday is okay.) Please let me know over email by Thursday Dec 16 so that I can have a copy printed out for you and ready. You will have as much time as you'd like, and you can demo your final project when you finish.

A number of students have requested to demo early on Thursday, so I will be available on zoom at 9AM. I'll follow the same procedure outlined above where I let only 1 student at a time into the meeting, and everyone else will wait in the waiting area. Feel free to demo then if you'd like even if you haven't pre-arranged that already with me.
