There could be a way to follow a note -- such that we'll see every reply to that note as time passes (or maybe this could be thing that only happens for a while: "follow for the next 5 days"), even though we are not tagged in that nor have replied or anything.

We implemented bookmarks, but we have no notification system for replies to bookmarked events. This should probably be a separate list of events to watch, different than the bookmarks.

Probably a short-lived local system that doesn't get published or anything.
