cut meshes/surfaces at intersection

Hello, is it possible to cut a mesh/surface at the intersection with another one?

I don’t understand if the Boolean tools can be used in this way, particularly on open surfaces.

Hey, yeah boolean operations are quite unreliable, and don't really work on open surfaces. You might try mesh.slice_plane if you're "cutting" by something planar.
