Won't Connect No Matter What I Do

My config is correct and I can connect via Terminal, Putty or FileZilla with the same information yet I get the following error continually when I try to connect via Visual Studio Code which makes it unusable for me.

I also encountered this problem, from 2 different devices where everything was already configured correctly, and on May 31 everything worked.

It sounds like this would be an issue with ssh, or your machine configuration. https://serverfault.com/questions/994646/ssh-on-windows-corrupted-mac-on-input. Maybe there was an update to ssh on windows.

Any different if you set "remote.SSH.useLocalServer": true (must be in your settings.json)
