  • VSCode Version: 1.87.0-insider (user setup) Commit: cf7ddbb51d0eaaed6dc25d2df137594254f3b790 Date: 2024-02-06T11:27:32.075Z Electron: 27.2.3 ElectronBuildId: 26495564 Chromium: 118.0.5993.159 Node.js: 18.17.1 V8: 11.8.172.18-electron.0 OS: Windows_NT x64 10.0.22621
  • Local OS Version: Windows 11
  • Remote OS Version: N/A
  • Remote Extension/Connection Type: WSL
  • Logs: N/A

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the Get Started with WSL walkthrough
  2. Use a theme that does not show the remote indicator as green
  3. Note that the WSL walkthrough mentions the "green remote indicator". This is confusing to users who do not see the remote indicator as green because of their theme. It would be better to just say "remote indicator".

Example with the Dark Modern theme: image
