ssh remote connection retry count config

Currently there seems only a timeout config. But I find even if I configure it to a large value like 60 seconds. It could fail when I have more than 10 remote windows open at once on restart, while clicking on the "retry" for 1 or 2 times after failure works. I hope there' s an option to press this "retry" button for a configurable count like 3 times after failure before notifying me about the failure. I usually have windows that open without immediate need for attention after start. Thanks!
