Unable to modify default docker repository

Open Bpc-CPU opened this issue 1 year ago • 6 comments

Type: Performance Issue

I'm a Chinese users. And I thanks here for you and your wonderful extension. But I have got a problem when I use this to install docker automatically in WSL2. Because I'm in China, so I can't connect to docker.com ( even with the best luck, the download speed is slow ). So I need mirror repository for docker downloading. I try to modify the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/docker.list, but before the command "apt update" running, the "devcontainers" extension always modifies the "docker.list" to the default repository url. In the end, I have no way but to install the docker programs by myself in the command line. I hope you can fix it.

Extension version: 0.380.0 VS Code version: Code 1.92.2 (fee1edb8d6d72a0ddff41e5f71a671c23ed924b9, 2024-08-14T17:29:30.058Z) OS version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.22631 Modes:
