Branch created with "start working" should get linked to issue

When I start work on an issue VSC creates a new branch for me but when I push it to the repo it is not shown under the development section

Similarly branches already created there should be shown in the issue page and proposed when starting work on the isssue.

Last I checked, the GitHub API doesn't give us a way to do this.
