agent mode stops functioning on certain files

no idea, I seem to have a file that everytime the agent touches it, nothing happens, ever, and the agent just sits spinning its wheels. very strange. Yes I recreated the file, split the file into 2, though its not very large. Just weird.... ;)

Copilot, Agnet Mode, doesn't seem to care about the model, tried Claude 3.7 Sonnet and Gemini 2.5 Pro.
Any attempt to update data in the file by the agent mode results in the hanging forever...nothing get s started, nothing gets accomplished from that point.
