Could you share your settings.json file?

Do you have anything in your PowerShell $profile?

Does this repro for other shells (i.e. Command Prompt) as well/? Or is this limited to Windows PowerShell tabs?

When it's in this bugged state, does selecting text in the terminal (just select all of it for debugging purposes) restore the contents to what you'd expect?

This looks like https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/issues/10905 https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/issues/10990 https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/issues/10975, which are all duplicates of a long-fixed PSReadLine issue, https://github.com/PowerShell/PSReadLine/issues/724.

Can you confirm the version of PSReadLine that you have installed? Get-Module PSReadline | fl *

@zadjii-msft

I tested on Powershell, Nushell and CMD, only CMD works fine, Powershell and Nushell have the same problem.
