Quake mode has rounded corners in Windows 11
Windows Terminal version (or Windows build number)
Windows 11 - 10.0.22000.0 | Terminal preview 1.9.1523.0
Other Software
Windows 11 preview
Steps to reproduce
I installed the terminal preview before updating, but I assume it'll have the same behavior whether you install before or after.
After finishing the Windows 11 upgrade, opening the terminal quake mode drop-down, the corners at the top and bottom are curved instead of filling in the full area.
I understand that this is the behavior that Windows 11 has by default for its apps, but this looks weird for the quake mode terminal.
Expected Behavior
The quake terminal shows without rounded edges.
Actual Behavior
The quake terminal shows with rounded edges

After exiting from the quake mode terminal, I'm now seeing the old terminal's window outline still on my screen!

Yea, this was a surprise to be sure. There's an API in Windows 11 that we can use to disable that feature fortunately, so we'll probably have that disabled by default for the _quake window
Gotta say the rounded bottom corners are rather nice, but the top ones definitely look weird.
Another problem is about the shadows; when the Quake window is opening, the shadow below the bottom border is shown up before the bottom actually extends there. The below screenshot is caught during the short window opening animation.

@Blealtan That's sorta being tracked in #8888?
- [ ] The dropdown animation could be better. It would be better if it animated the whole window frame, but it's gotta look good. Add property to control dropdown speed of global summon #9977 has notes on what I tried and didn't work for me.
I couldn't get that working quite the way I'd like. I suppose there's not a dedicated issue tracking that element though, feel free to go ahead and file one!
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/desktop/modernize/apply-rounded-corners is the docs for the API I'm looking for

That sounds like Issue #12121.
Still have this issue.... Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22631.3296]
