Website PRs/CI link checks fail intermittently with HTTP 520/521 errors

Problem Description

It appears that sometimes the links on our site point to sites that are "protected" by CloudFlare. When we use unbroken to check for dead links, sometimes Cloudflare will report an HTTP 520 or HTTP 521 error, causing the check to fail.
