Same here. Maybe, you have similar settings than me?

It used to work at 0.63.0
Yes, it seems after deactivating the first option
Keep windows in their zones when the screen resolution changes
the behavior changes and everything works fine.
Hi @dom6770, can you please attach a /bugreport?
Hi there!
We need a bit more information to really debug this issue. Can you add a "Report Bug" zip file here? You right click on our system tray icon and just go to report bug. Then drag the zipfile from your desktop onto the GitHub comment box in this issue. Thanks!

Sure! I forgot to upload it, made one when I created the issue. PowerToysReport_2022-11-05-14-47-05.zip
I get the last focused window changing size and position when I swap between virtual desktops, though it doesn't happen if I untick "Move newly created windows to their last zone".
Sometimes the window snaps to one of the zones on the window it was on, sometimes it moves to a different monitor and reduces the app to about 100 pixels high. I haven't been able to ascertain why the difference though.
Hello.
For me the issue has the following behaviour:
- The screen is splitted in four quarter zones and I have
Keep windows in their zones when the screen resolution changesclicked. - When I open an application and make it full screen with the top right icon, when I switch virtual desktops and go back, the window is resized into one of the zones.
- If now I make the application full screen by clicking on the title bar while maintaining the shift key pressed and moving the pointer so that the four zones are highlighted, when I switch desktops and go back, the window stays in place (no bug).
- If I make the application span 2 zones with the Windows, Shift and arrow keys, the bug comes back.
- If I make the application span 2 zones by click the title bar and the shift key, there is no bug.
I would say that the application window zone layout is not well memorized in some circumstances. For now, I work around the issue by positionning the windows by clicking on the title bar.
Could be fixed with https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/issues/21668, so let's revisit in 0.65.
Hi @dom6770, can you please check if it's fixed on the latest PowerToys version? /needinfo

Hi, for information the issue is fixed when switching desktops. The issue is still there however if you are going to sleep or if you power down/power-up the monitor. It's less annoying though.
