Self-Check reports errors despite the setup working

Open mvglasow opened this issue 9 years ago • 3 comments

On my device (OnePlus One running CyanogenMod 12, never had GApps), the following tests fail:

  • System supports location provider
  • UnifiedNLP has known location
  • UnifiedNLP provides location updates

However, both SatStat and Navit receive location updates from UnifiedNLP.

Tested with NetworkLocation-debug.apk built locally from bcf1cff and installed as a regular user app, rebooted after install.

Upgraded to CM13 today. System supports location provider now succeeds but the two location self-checks still fail.

Duplicate to #72 and #88?

Do you really get “System supports location provider” by default on CM13? I was never able to get this one, even using Xposed module (that one didn’t even recognized UnifiedNlp – the “UnifiedNlp package” step fails). But since it seemed to work nevertheless, with both “UnifiedNlp has known location“ and “UnifiedNlp provides location updates” failling, didn’t bothered complaining about that.
