You don't need UnifiedNLP, microG GmsCore already includes v2.0 alpha. Uninstall it, and then look into getting it to work through microG directly.
Tap Location modules in microG settings, if this menu is empty you need to install some network location providers first.

I would recommend Apple or Mozilla, alongside Nominatim. Once installed, you can enable them in the location sub-menu.
Note: UnifiedNLP is only needed if you intend on using Bluetooth and/or WiFi scanning, for battery-saving or high-accuracy GPS. If you can't get UnifiedNLP to work, you should still be able to use gps via your phone's built-in gps module, using device-only mode. If this doesn't work, there is a problem somewhere else with your phone that is unlikely to be microG's fault.
I take it Apple or Mozilla, alongside Nominatim. will work on Non rooted Phone?
many thanks
I'm not actually sure if it's possible to use UnifiedNLP without at least some kind of custom rom. Install the modules and restart your phone, then select them in the Location modules sub-menu and check what the self-check says. If it doesn't work, then you might be out of luck.

You might be able to get location stuff working regardless
