Integration with AOSP 8.1 fails

I added the repositories as documented here: https://github.com/microg/android_packages_apps_UnifiedNlp#aosp-build-system-integration

However the build fails with:

./packages/apps/UnifiedNlp/Android.mk:84: error: FindEmulator: find: `packages/apps/UnifiedNlp/unifiednlp-compat/src/v9/aidl': No such file or directory

Exact same error. I'm trying to integrate into LineageOS 15.1
