True Caller working but backup or restore not working

True Caller application backup not working with MicroG .. It is need asking for Google Play app dependency .. .while backup/restore.

Update.. TrueCaller without restoring or fresh copy is working fine. But Backup Restore issues still exists asking for Play store

Tried latest MicroG and gmscore. Issue with Truecaller backup and restore as it use google drive. Please fix this issue

Did anyone got a solution with Truecaller backup and restore? I'm still struggling with EMUI 14

AFAIK Truecaller stores its backups on Google drive only.

For many/most of us using microg, a closed source app which depends on Google is a definite no-go - so I would assume that this is low priority for the team.

Have you considered an alternative app?

Maybe SpamBlocker which is available on FDroid and Github.
