aytdl is music-focused, so for now there is no 'out-of-the-box' way to do this

However, if you set your config right (set extract-audio and all audio-related flags to 'false', add .mp4 or your desired video format to the valid_extension list, there is no reason that it wouldn't work....except maybe one that i'm fixing right now, wait for version 1.2.1 (i hope you are on linux, or can run aytdl as a python script, as I won't be able to recompile for windows for a while)

Remember to use the --force flag to bypass the metadata archive (that only works with music)
