External Vue Libraries Broken

I tried using several external vue ui libs (Vuetify / Element / Keen UI) with varying degrees of success. I can get the libs css loaded but the js is broken. I have forked the Akryum/meteor-vue-example repo and upgraded to Meteor 1.6 and installed Vuetify. I have a very simple demo of the issue on the first page. Click the button that opens the Vuetify dialog. The dialog opens, however clicking outside it should run the directive to remove the dialog but nothing happens.
