Switching between projects is extremely slow

Every time I switch between projects, it takes about 5-10 seconds before I can start working in the switched project. Not sure what you will need from me to get some data on that?

How long does Atom typically take to start up or open a project using File > Open?

same issue here, origin open project folder took less than 1s.

Can I have some details like:

  • How many files are open in Project A (switching away from) and Project B (switching to)
  • How many files in both, period
  • Installed packages

At first it runs fast. Seems to become slower each time it's used until reaches the point where it freezes atom.

Mac OS, Atom 1.21.0 Project Plus 1.0.0

After switching projects 4-5 times, the process of switching projects takes 4-5 seconds After switching projects 14-15 times, one switch takes about 50-60 seconds... After switching projects 20-21 times, one switch takes about 7-10 minutes...

So it's imposible to use this plugin after switching projects 8-9 times...

Any ideas on this @mehcode?

It kind of seems like the memory goes up and up and up each time you switch projects within the same window.
