Thanks for your help with identifying and fixing this. This was resolved in version `1.8.1` - https://github.com/mdmintz/pdbp/releases/tag/v1.8.1

Retain command history between sessions like ipdb can

The up/down arrows are working for me for the current session. History isn't saved from previous debugging sessions. You can probably combine Pdb+ with the IPython debugger if you want...
