Launcher Not Working in OSMC 2017.03-1

The launcher doesn't seem to be working in the latest OSMC build (2017.03-1, Kodi 17.1) Everything installs as usual using the menu system but no shortcut shows up in the Program add-on folder.

Running Linux Kernel 4.4.27-9-osmc if that helps.

Activate it in the kodi addon preferences. It is deactivated after installation since kodi 17

I am having this exact issue... I followed the guide, installed retropie, installed the launcher, but the launcher does not show up in the "Program Add-ons"

Went to the preferences, and the "Unknown sources" is enabled...

You have to enable the addon itself. Newly installed addons from unknown sources are disabled by default since Kodi 17.

Goto My add-ons -> Program add-ons
