Clonezilla crashes when booting in RAM mode

Open gitdude1 opened this issue 5 years ago • 0 comments

I created a multiboot USB flash drive with Clonezilla 2.6.5-21 ISO using Multibootusb 9.2.0 on Linux Mint 18.3.

When I select the option 'boot into RAM mode' from the Clonezilla Boot options menu, it crashes with the following error: run-init: /sbin/init: no such file or directory - kernel panic - not syncing:

Multibootusb has been dormant for a few years, however I thought I'd post anyway to alert others to the problem. The solution I found was to use the latest release of YUMI multiboot USB flash drive creator. The only drawback is that it runs on Windows. If you don't have WIndows you could try running it with Wine.
