List of supported distros?

Hello. Is there a list somewhere of which distros and distro versions are supported? Thanks.

That is entensive and time consumming to keep up-to-date so as to have such reliable list

How much do you think this is worth as far as to the purpose of this? There are a ton of distributions and i just dont see the point of a compatibility list.

Compatibility hinges on alot as far as the user's system as a whole. It can greatly impact on wether a certain distribution installs and run properly. It could be that it works on only a few systems or all of them.

There are very many distributions floating around as we stand now. It would be a real effort to create and maintain such a list in my opinion. Thinking about all this, i came up with maybe some sort of suggestion...

By contacting distros lead teams, it may be possible to have them integrate multibootusb compatibility testing pre-release so that they both add a feature to their distro "mbusb compatible/tested/compliant" while the mbusb gets visibility and compatibility testings done.. It might not be such a foolish idea to think that developpers would want to help out in performing such a short test

Some sort of wiki format where users could contribute would be a good solution for this. As people test distros they can report if they worked or not and it can get slowly updated over time. Something missing from the list won't mean it doesn't work, but something that is on the list and marked working would inspire confidence. Someone in a hurry might then stick to those distros so they don't have any trouble.
