Have you tried contacting A4Tech for the opcodes?

Since they don't officially support Linux they might be willing to give a few simple hints to someone working on it. I found the project interesting and I'll try to brute force something to see if I can help.

Just for shits and giggles I actually emailed their support with a "technical question" about the USB specs.

Unsurprisingly I got a copypasted response on how to use the software.
