Idea: Download a single issue & use repo/issue URLs directly Description

Hello! First off, thanks for creating gh2md, it's a super useful tool for backing up issues.

I was just using it and had a thought for a feature that would make it even more convenient. Right now, it seems like I have to download all issues from a repo, but sometimes I just want to save a single important thread. I couldn't find an option to just download one specific issue by its number.

It would be awesome if there was a way to do that.

On a related note, to make things even faster, what if gh2md could accept a full GitHub URL instead of just the owner/repo format? So instead of manually typing mattduck/gh2md, I could just paste https://github.com/mattduck/gh2md from my browser.

Putting those two ideas together, the ultimate workflow would be to just paste the URL of a single issue and have gh2md know exactly what to do.

For example, a command like this:

gh2md https://github.com/mattduck/gh2md/issues/1 my-issue-1.md

...would be smart enough to see the URL, pull out the repo (mattduck/gh2md) and the issue number (1), and then download just that single issue.

So, to summarize, I'm proposing two related things:

  1. A way to download a single issue, maybe with a new flag like --issue-number 1.
  2. Support for full GitHub URLs, for both the main repo page and specific issue pages, which would make using the tool super quick.

I think this would make gh2md even more flexible for different use cases, especially for quickly grabbing a single important conversation.

Thanks for considering it

@philippedev101 hey, glad you find the script useful, thanks for the suggestion. I don't get much time to work on this repo at the moment, but both changes would be pretty simple to implement and add tests for, if you or someone else wants to try it
