User does not have sufficient permissions for this account
We have a problem importing data from an analytics account where we are not the owner but got access granted (full administration rights).
The error is the following: { "error": { "code": 403, "message": "User does not have sufficient permissions for this account.", "errors": [ { "message": "User does not have sufficient permissions for this account.", "domain": "global", "reason": "insufficientPermissions" } ] } }
For me it sounds as it might be the same problem as described in this WP Plugin: https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1548 https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1707
I have no problems importing other GA Data. I can even import one site where the admin status was also granted (but from another person).
Hi @Daniel123454321, can you double check your permissions in the google analytics account? It needs more than View permissions. If the account does have Administrator rights as you say that should work fine, but this error suggests it isn't Administrator.

@justinvelluppillai more than double checked. It's the Administration role. I can also add users and change everything with my account directly in GA (same account as the account used with the importer)
It's really a strange problem. I have this with 3 out of 4 shared GA properties.
@justinvelluppillai After two weeks the problem still exists and yes I think there is a bug. If you want I can create you also an admin account so you can test/try it yourself.

@justinvelluppillai thank you. If someone from the the dev team needs access I can add them to one of the sites. I can also create some test credentials for testing on google cloud for that prupose.
