Country Data of API differs from JHU Dashboard data

Hi, I seem to get data from the API for Spain that differs from the data displayed at the JHU dashboard. I provide two screenshots, one from JHU and another one from my own dashboard. You can clearly see that from April 23 onwards, the number of infections from the API is significantly higher than the data number from JHU. Then, no April 29, we see a huge drop in the API data, which is not present in the JHU data. Any idea why this is happening?

EDIT: This does not only occur in Spain's data but also in other countries like France. What is happening here?
