imports not working

First of all, thanks for this great plugin!

I would like to use this in my mkdocs installation and it seems to work great for inlined mindmaps. However, I can't get it to show mindmaps imported with {!mindmap.mm.md!}. It seems to simply skip that import statement. How can I deboug / fix this?

I'm running mkdocs 1.4.0 and mkdocs-markmap 2.3.0.

Sorry to say but works fine for me.

Where is your mindmap.mm.md located? If it's next to your markdown file referencing it, make sure to remove your base_path configuration for the plugin from mkdocs.yml.

If you separate .mm.md files from your .md files, make sure to configure base_path accordingly. For a guide see Troubleshooting "Nav tree lists markmaps".

Does that fix the issue for you?

Thanks for the pointers, will check that. I believe I did not customize anything at all in my mkdocs.yml but I'll verify all of the above.
